Jan 15, 16, 17*              Port Townsend Land Cruise at Harborside Inn, Port

                                    Townsend.  Fun and excitement at our new land

                                    cruise location.

Feb 19, 20, 21*             Intrepid Boaters Cruise to Longbranch.

                                    Hosts: Sue Patterson.

Mar 12, 13, 14*              New Members Cruise to Swantown.

                                    Host:  Chris & Dan Leeper; Penny & Ed Teitzel.

Mar 20                         Oyster Picking for Oyster/Ham Dinner.

Mar 27                           General Clean Up at SYC.  Annual work party to get

                                    ready for the Oyster/Ham Dinner.

Apr 3                             Annual Oyster/Ham Dinner at Shelton Yacht Club.  All

                                    Members are expected to participate in ticket selling,

                                    serving, and clean-up.  Wear whites if working at dinner.    

Apr 16, 17, 18*               Daffodil Regatta at Tacoma Yacht Club.  TYC hosts this

                                    fun-filled weekend with a parade on Sunday morning.

Apr 22                          Blessing of the Fleet/Opening Day Ceremony at Shelton

                                    Yacht Club.

Apr 23, 24, 25*              Opening Weekend of Boating at Percival Landing.

                                    Hosts:  Carol & Tony King.

                                    Fantasy Island theme; decorate your boat.

April 30, May 1, 29          Seattle Yacht Club Opening Day Weekend

Sept 10, 11, 12*             Ragbagger’s Cruise to Jarrell’s Cove.   

                                    Hosts:  Rich & Pat Norris; George & Connie Davidson.

Oct 1, 2, 3                   Oysterfest at SYC.  We host visiting yacht clubs with

                                    potluck Saturday afternoon/evening.  Breakfast is

                                    served Sunday morning.

Oct 15, 16, 17*               Autumn Leaves Cruise at Arabella’s in Gig Harbor.

                                    Hosts:  Sue & Jim Bennett.

Nov 6                            Commodore’s Ball.  An evening of fun with your friends,

                                    including dinner, entertainment, and dancing.

Nov 13                          New and Prospective Members Dinner.  A special meal

                                    for the new and prospective members, provided by the

                                    SYC Officers.  Current and next year’s Flag Officers

                                    host the evening.

Dec 10, 11                     Lighted Boat Parade.  Decorate your boat and parade

                                    each evening down Hammersley Inlet.  After the parade

                                    on December 11, bring your guests and leftovers to the

                                    clubhouse for a social get together.

Dec 11                         Special People’s Party in the early afternoon.

Dec 31                         New Year’s Eve Party.  Dinner, drinks, games, and fun.

                                    Help take down the SYC tree.

Jan 6, 2011                  Change of Watch.

Bold type designates organized events by the Fleet Captain(s); * designates

overnight cruises.  You may also attend the overnight cruises by land if you wish.

However, these will not count as overnight cruises towards membership.

Be sure to watch the Lifeline and/or website for any changes in schedules.  If you are

interested in helping out with any event, contact your fleet captain(s).  The more help,

the more fun.
