 Dec. 31                      New Year’s Eve Party at SYC Clubhouse.      Help take down the SYC tree and enjoy a fun evening bringing in the New Year!

Jan. 20, 21, 22 *          Annual Land Cruise to Ocean Shores at the Polynesian Hotel.

                                       Hosts:  Kim & Diana Austin, Jim & Sue Bennett.

Mar. 16, 17, 18 *          St. Patrick’s Day Cruise to Longbranch     CLICK HERE for flyer

Mar. 24                       Oyster Picking for Oyster/Ham Dinner.

Mar. 31                       General Clean Up at SYC.  Annual work party to get ready for the Oyster/Ham Dinner.

Apr. 7                         Annual Oyster/Ham Dinner at Shelton Yacht Club.  All hands on deck for this annual event.  This is our only fund-raising event for our club.  Wear your whites for this event, please.

Apr. 19                       Blessing of the Fleet/Opening Day Ceremony at  Shelton Yacht Club.

Apr. 20, 21, 22            Tacoma Yacht Club Daffodil Marine Regatta.

                                       No-Host:  Optional.

Apr. 20, 21, 22 *          Opening Weekend of Boating at Jarrell’s Cove.

                                       Host:  Fleet Captain Jan McDermid.

May 4, 5, 6 *                Wooden Boat Fair in Olympia.  Wooden boats to Percival Landing; fiberglass boats to Swantown Marina.

                                       No-Host:  Optional.

May 5                          Seattle Yacht Club Opening Day Weekend.  Theme: “Porthole to Paradise”.

May 25 – 28 *                First Mates Cruise to Bremerton.  Dinner Saturday; location to be determined.  Celebrate First Mates present and past!

                                       Hosts:  Dick & Linda Shrum.

Jun. 15, 16, 17 *           To the Sea! Cruise to Fox Island.

                                       Hosts:  Sue Patterson & Jean Iverson

Jul. 20, 21, 22 *            Summer Rendezvous Cruise to Poulsbo.

                                       Hosts:  Jerry & Jenni Nelson, Bill Miller & Lorraine Sullivan

Aug. 17, 18, 19 *        Ragbagger’s Cruise to Totten Inlet.  Anchor out in front of Taylor’s house.

                                       Hosts:  Judy Taylor & Noreen Light.

Sep. 14, 15, 16 *          Mermaids Cruise to Des Moines Marina.

                                       Hosts:  George & Debbie Daly, Tracy & Vicki McAferty

Oct. 5, 6, 7                 Oysterfest at SYC.  We host visiting yacht clubs with potluck Saturday afternoon/evening.  Breakfast is served Sunday morning.

Oct. 12, 13, 14 *           OktoberFest Cruise to Longbranch.

                                       Host:  Fleet Captain Jan McDermid

Nov. 3                            Commodore’s Ball.  Theme: Neptune’s Splendor.  An evening of fun with your friends, including dinner.

Nov. 8                            *** SYC November Social ***.  Social moved to the 2^nd Thursday of the month.

Nov. 14                         New and Prospective Members Only Dinner.  Current and next year’s Flag Officers host this event.

Dec. 7, 8                       Annual Christmas Lighted Boat Parade.  Decorate your boat and parade each evening down Hammersley Inlet.  After the    parade on December 8, bring your guests and leftovers to the clubhouse for a social get together.

Dec. 8                          Annual Special People’s Party at SYC Clubhouse in the early afternoon.

Bold type designates organized events by the Fleet Captain(s); * designates overnight cruises.  You may also attend the overnight cruises by land if you wish.  However, these will not count as overnight cruises towards membership.
